NOW YOU CAN SEE MY “ANXIOUS GLOVE CLOSING” SYNDROME!

I wanted to post this segment as means to reflect upon as my training continues.

I want to come back to this segment in a few months and compare how my glove side saves evolve.

The early glove closure I’m doing in these clips comes from years ago when I was training hand eye coordination with a tennis ball. I got into the habit of snapping my glove shut the same way I caught a tennis ball, forgetting to let the puck hit the webbing of my glove THEN close the glove.

The rapid pinching mechanic is one I want to remove from my game and replace it with a tracking, catching, closing response of my glove hand.
