13+ years later and i’m stopping pucks again

It takes a special kind of person to willingly stand in front of proectiles being launched at them…and want more.

We started with shots aimed to blocker side. I am excited to learn how to better track the puck in toward my blocker to break the habit of punching at the puck.

Once my new visual tracking techniques become routine, I’ll stop shots more efficiently by positioning instead of reacting.

One thing I noticed especially during this day, is how I need to stabilize my core, hips, thighs, and prosthesis upon puck impact without turning inward to the net or backing up on my heels. Interesting.
