IMPROVED MOVEMENT = IMPROVED SAVES

As I continue getting used to the new prosthesis, I notice how well it tracks laterally moving to my left side.

Since this session, I have been working on developing stronger right hip muscles to support the weight shift moving laterally to my right (prosthetic side).

One thing I constantly have to remind myself of, the one thing that is not hockey or skating related, is to trust the prosthesis.

Any amputee, whether upper limb or lower limb, will suffer from is not trusting the prosthesis to do the work. It is a skill that all amputees, especially myself, must work on daily.
