SMALL CHANGES BIG IMPROVEMENTS

The ice can be unforgiving as it’ll punish a skater for making too many big adjustments too quickly.

Skating is a process of balance, trust, nuance, small micro adjustments, and keeping your head up. I remember a coach of mine saying “keep your eyes down to the ice, you’ll end up on the ice”.

We find our power, balance, and motion by steering with our eyes, head, shoulders, hips THEN skates. Heads up hockey is good hockey.
