ENTER THE CREASE
There is a psychological quirk that happens in the brain of any goalie. Skating on open ice is never as good as skating in front of a hockey goal. It stands 6’x4’ and represents everything a goalie is trained to defend. Once it appears on the ice, skating becomes easier, more intense, and more purpose driven.
I can’t describe it, but I know this video shows that having an old friend…an old goal behind me….made the day feel real.
