A POWERFUL END OF DAY 6

This set of clips came at the end of the hour and half session.

I was gassed but wanted to get in a few more power pushes on the new leg before wrapping up for the day.

I also knew that this would be the last day skating without my upper body armor, mask, and true hockey jersey. I was getting too comfortable skating without full gear and I didn’t want to procrastinate the full gear skating sessions any longer.

The extra weight, bulk, and material of going full gear better simulates game readiness as all the gear for a game…is on me. It builds endurance faster than anything else. It was a great set of 6 skates in this lightened set up but I am ready to go full gear and get closer to my goal of stopping pucks with shooters on ice by late september.
